Center for Talent Development – Northwestern University’s gifted center, check out the on-line newsletter, magazine, etc.

The Center for Talented Youth John Hopkins University’s Center for Gifted Children

The Davidson Institute for Talent Development – Primary Focus: Exceptionally Gifted Young people, includes Davidson Young Scholars, a program that recognizes, nurtures and supports the special needs of profoundly gifted children (children living in America, or American children residing elsewhere)

The Hollingworth Center for Highly Gifted Children

Institute for Educational Advancement – Dedicated to supporting our nation’s most talented young people to identify and develop their fullest potential.  Currently offering apprenticeship Programs, Yunasa Summer Camp, more.

National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) – USA – An organization of parents, educators, and others united to address the unique needs of children with demonstrated gifts and talents.  Check out their Parent Information and choose from their three membership-benefit journals:  Gifted Child Quarterly, Teaching for High Potential and Parenting for High Potential.

National Research Center on the Gifted and Talented – A collaborative effort of the University of Connecticut, City University of New York/City College, Stanford University, University of Virginia, Yale University and others

Talent Identification Program (TIP) – Duke University’s Talent Search and gifted research information center

North Carolina Association for the Gifted and Talented (NCAGT) – Read more about their annual conferences and resources.

PAGE of Wake County – You can gain information from NCAGT and the PAGE chapter about starting a parent organization to support gifted education in your child’s school.

CEC State Resources for Gifted Education – This list includes State Department of Education offices responsible for gifted education and state-wide advocacy groups (includes addresses and phone numbers)

Belin & Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development

Mensa International  The website will provide information on the organization, its benefits, how to join and more. There is a GREAT page for students at www.mensaforkids.org that included games, enrichment units, lessons, blogs and so much more. Visit these sites but for full benefits consider joining Mensa.
